English Country Dance Calendar
Except where otherwise indicated, all dances are on
Tuesday evening from 7:00-10:15 pm, at
the Philip Coltoff Center, 219 Sullivan Street, Manhattan.Members and full-time students with ID: $10; Non-members $13.
CDSS members who live 50 miles outside of NYC pay as CD*NY members.Please bring a pair of CLEAN, SOFT-SOLED SHOES to change into for the dance.
Each Tuesday evening, we will begin with an experienced English Country Dance session from 7:00 to 7:30 which will concentrate on challenging dances and figures. There will be a beginner's session running simultaneously in a side room. Dancers who are still learning the ECD basic figures and repertoire are invited to either join the beginner's session or watch the challenging dances.
If the shoes have been worn outside, take extra care to scrub off any grit from the soles.
Dancing for all in the main hall will begin at 7:30.
