When we wrote to you a year ago, our programming reflected our values, continued connections and opportunities to support our outstanding local talent. Since then, we’ve been able to re-open dancing and to adjust our safety precautions as the situation continues to evolve. Thank you to our amazing board members and volunteers, whose work has made this possible!

Members’ Meeting: Agenda and Slate

Agenda: 1. Election of new Board officers and members. 2. Report on the state of the organization

The Nominating Committee proposes the following slate of candidates for election to the CD*NY Board of Directors. The President-elect serves for one year before assuming the presidency in 2022. Newly elected Members-at-Large serve for three years. Years in parentheses indicate the year of the Annual Meeting when the term expires.

Positions to be voted on:

President: Jennifer Werfelman (2024). Past-President: Shoshana Silverman (2023). Treasurer: Beril Lapson (2023).  Members-at-Large: Danny Walkowitz (2023), Elizabeth Parry (2023), Annie Edden (2024), Anne Tobias (2024).

Coordinators, appointed by the President and approved by the Board.

We are seeking volunteers to fill the positions marked TBD.

Technology Coordinator: Josh Schnur-Holmes

Facebook and Instagram Postings: TBD (need not be a Board member)

English Sound Coordinator: TBD (need not be a Board member)

Proxies may be submitted in writing, signed by a member (or his/her/their authorized attorney-in-fact), dated no more than six months prior to the annual meeting and filed with the Secretary, Helen White, reproduced in the body of the email or scanned and sent to her at helenewhite@me.com. A proxy can also be submitted by email to info2@cdny.org. No proxy shall be valid after the final adjournment of the meeting. Every proxy shall be revocable at the pleasure of the member executing it, except as otherwise provided by law.
