Gaye Fifer, the best waltz teacher in the country, is returning to NYC!!! She teaches beginning and advanced waltz all over the country. Her calm, warm and clear teaching style makes her a wonderful teacher and caller. Where else can you take a waltz class for $5? She is joined by Larry Unger, Naomi Morse and Marco Brehm

3:00-4:00 advanced waltz workshop with Gaye
4:00-5:00 beginning waltz workshop with Gaye
5:15-6:45 open waltzing with live music by Larry, Naomi and Marco!
Dinner break
7:30-8:00 introductory contra workshop
8-10:45 contra for all with Gaye Fifer calling and Larry, Naomi and MarcoThe band is:

All the things Gaye might teach at the workshops: cuddle variations, parallels, cape variations, grapevines, laces and more! If you only know one role, come learn the other! If you want to add some spice and elegance to your waltz come to the advanced! If you’re not sure which level you are, come to both! (It’s the same price.) If you want to join the waltz fun at contras, come to the beginning workshop.

Advanced dancers are welcome to take the advanced workshop in their primary dance role and stay to take the beginner workshop in the dance role that is newer to them for free!

Bring your dance shoes, a smile, and something yummy to share during break!

Each first-timer will get a free pass to come another time.
Bring clean, soft-soled shoes.
